How wonderful music education is!
Our current student enrollments feature ages from 5 years to 87. Yes you read that right. Bev has been a piano accompanist for much of her life and recently retired from that. She decided that studying theory would keep her mind sharp. It is her 'brain gymnastics' as she calls it, and looks forward to it every week. She has covered grade 1 and 2 in 2024 and is currently working through Grade 3.
A-MAZING! Then there is Aurelia. At age 85 is currently working on grade 2 piano practical material.

Welcome to 2025
This year marks our 21st year in providing quality music education to Sunshine Coast residents and families. That does not happen by chance and we are ever grateful for the support we have had over the years from the community and our teachers.
New focused education. This year we welcome Andrew Burns to our team. Andrew is a vocal specialist AND a piano teacher. Jacob Keys, High Distinction marks for his ANZCA Grade 3 Guitar.
Linzy Holz, successfully auditioned for entry into the Music Performance Degree at USC, starting Semester 1, 2025.
Piano
Many students sat AMEB practical exams (grades 1 to 8) with results ranging from C+ through to A+ and theory exams grades 1 -4) with results ranging from B+ through to A+. 🎵Congratulations to all students. 🎵
Singing/Vocal
Congratulations to Ayush Sanjay for his B+ result Singing for Leisure Grade 4.

Have you been playing a musical instrument and struggled to understand WHY you play WHAT you play?
Come and join our class "Music Theory for Everyone" Working from the recognized AMEB Theory workbooks (included) the lessons will be with practical interaction. 1 hour per week. $25 per hour booked by the term.
