  • Amy Welsh has been playing music since she was 4 years old - first learning the violin and flute - and taking up piano at 10 years old. She has over 10 years teaching experience, an A.Mus.A in Classical Flute, Grade 8 piano and spent 5 years learning from the best teachers at the Elder Conservatorium of Music.
    She loves teaching and helping her students not only play the flute well but having fun and enjoying it along the way.


Amy Welsh completed her A.Mus.A (Associate Diploma of Music – AMEB) at the end of 2003 in Classical Flute Performance. 
Amy won 5 consecutive scholarships to study the flute at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, University of Adelaide. She reached grade 8 AMEB in classical piano and was offered to continue her training at the University of Adelaide. 
Amy began teaching in 2001 from her home and has worked in different music Academy's and Schools. 

Amy is excited to now be part of the "Dedication to Education" team Caloundra Music Academy
She has won multiple competitions and had the privilege of performing at weddings, conferences, at SA Military Events, the Young Australian of the Year awards and many other concerts.
Amy has also frequently worked as a piano accompanist for students performances and exams.
She has completed Child Mandatory Notification Training, has a national police clearance, and is First Aid & CPR qualified.
